Why diets don't work

It's easy to start a diet.

There are loads of diet plans available, and most of them promise the world with very little effort or input.

It's as if we're all looking for a magic pill for weight loss.

But that's not the case.

So, why do most diets not work?

Because they're pretty fucking unsustainable.

Because there is no quick and easy fix.

Except there sort of is.

Quick fixes that is (not quick results... they take time)

Diets don't work because they're so drastically different from your normal eating habits.

See, if you looked at what you ate, and monitored it there would be at least 10 quick fixes that could be put into place.

Diet drinks instead of sugary ones, red milk instead of green, baked crisps instead of normal crisps and low fat cheese instead of full fat.

You see my point?

Once you nail the easy parts, and swap out parts of your diet for lower calorie versions, then the harder parts become more achievable.

Diets don't work because you do too much, too quickly.

Gradual changes are much more sustainable.
