Another month of the year gone. The shortest month, but another month none the less. We're nearly a quarter the way thorough 2019, and what do you have to show for it? How are you progressing toward your goals?
Its the start of a new month, and that makes it the perfect time to look back, reassess, and move forward.
For instance, looking back over the last month, I had a whole bunch of bad days. I felt like crap, and binged a whole bunch at the end of the day. I missed a bunch of training sessions, nad my steps were down.
Why? Well there's probably a bunch of reasons, but i recon its down to not eating enough. Even with the end of day binge, I averaged 1850 kcals a day last month, with was 100 over my target of 1750.
That's far far too low!
I'm a big guy, and that's not enough.
No way, no how.
Time to reassess.
So I've increased my calories to 2000 a day, and I'm making a conscious effort to increase my steps.
What about you?
Where are your goals at?
And ow are you progressing toward them?
Nearly a quarter of the way through the year.
Are you a quarter of the way toward your goals?
If not, do you need to re-look at them? Do they need to be addressed, or do you need to change your approach?
If I stuck to 1850 kcals a day, I'd hit my goal in no time, but I'd be a miserable fuck the while time! I'd be intolerable! So I increase the food I'm eating, stay happier, and stick to the diet. Instead of eating a thousand calories worth of biscuits at the end of the night, I eat a thousand calories during the day, keep my NEAT up and get to the gym three times a week.
