Two weeks in


We're now two weeks into 2019 and I bed that the majority of you have given up with your New Years resolutions.

I say given up, rather than failed, because we're only two weeks into 2019, and you can't 'fail' for another fifty weeks.

I bet that the first week you were all gun hoe, and excited to smash 2019. To make it 'your year'. You probably over did it, whatever it was, and half way into week two gave up, telling yourself it was too much, achievable, and foolish.

I beg to differ.

So what if you had a shitty week? If you gained a couple of pounds, or didn't hit the gym four times, or didn't do this, that or the other and you're feeling unmotivated, and you don't want to continue?

Suck it up.

Motivation will come and go over the next fifty weeks, and if you're banking on being motivated to 'smash' this year you will come up short.

Forget about the past two weeks, weather they be good or bad. Focus on the next week. Just get through the next seven days, and do the best you can. Then worry about the seven days after that, review, reevaluate and move onto the next seven, and again, and again, and again, and somewhere along the road, you'll hit your goal.
