Motivation. It comes and goes.

Motivation.

We get so pumped up over motivation. But it comes and goes.

We start when it comes. But what happens when it goes?

We stop, that's what happens when the motivation fades away.

We stop.


See, weather we're trying to lose weight, getting that last thousand words written, running that last mile, or whatever, our levels of motivation go up, and down. But we're not supposed to be motivated all the time. What we're supposed to do, is get ourselves into habits. Good habits, that will benefit us long term. If we commit to doing the absolute minimum on the days we don’t want to, then we’ll be set up ready for the days we do.
