I don’t know who said that, but it’s wrong. Isn’t it? Good things don’t come because you waited for them. Things come. Good things come because you go after them. You want a new car, you have to work for it. You want a promotion? You have to put in the graft and earn it!
Too many people sit and wait, and expect this, that and the other to come their way.
They're usually the same people who complain when they see others succeed. theyre bitter because you moved into the new house, or you got the job they wanted. It’s because youre better friends with the boss, or you got more help or a hundred other reasons why it’s Your fault that their ‘plan’ didn’t work.
Theres nothing bad about being patient. Putting in the work, paying your dues but grinding hard and waiting for your opportunity. But that opportunity won’t just appear. It has to be made!
Dont be the one left behind because you’re waiting for the right moment. Or because your time is still to come.
Be the one who got ahead, while all others were waiting.
