Alright guys? How's everything going?
So it's our birthday week (mine and Emma's... not mine and yours. This blog has nothing to do with you. Jeez' so self centered)
For Christmas I bought Emma a holiday in the lakes, and that holiday is this week. Its Wednesday today, and were here until Friday, so we're halfway though, and so far it's been great.
Yesterday we went on a walk. It was supposed to be seven miles long across fields and through the woods.
Now, I say it was supposed to be seven miles long (which would be far enough even on a good day) but this walk ended up being nearly fifteen miles long... somebody who shall remain nameless (but they wont and it was me) got us lost... well not really lost, we were still on a path, its just the path wasn't on our map.
That being said, if it wasn't for my 'off piste excursion' we wouldn't have seen this amazing view ----->
Because of the day yesterday, and its erm... difficulty, we had a relaxing day today, and ignoring her better judgement, Emma and I rented a boat!
The boat was so so so much fun. And we didn't crash it once... well, sort of crashed it on the way back into the dock, but that didn't count because I said so.
Again, out there on the middle of the water, it was a great place to snap some photographs... Kind of like this one.

This whole holiday has made me want to get a decent camera, a proper one, that people use to take photographs.
Anyways, im going to talk more about my future camera, future dog (that's right, i want a dog now) and the rest of the trip after, you know, the rest of the trip.
